Scientists worldwide admit global warming is a hoax

“In an unprecedented move Wednesday, the Norwegian Nobel Committee rescinded the Peace Prize it awarded in 2007 to former US vice president Al Gore and the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, amid overwhelming evidence that global warming is an elaborate hoax cooked up by Mr. Gore.

A press release from the committee quotes a  chagrined Rajendra Pachauri, the UN climate panel’s chair, who claims that he was the victim of a “cunning deception spanning  decades”:”

Bjorn Lomborg admits his intellectual bankruptcy

BPSDB The other shoe has dropped as Bjorn Lomborg publicly admits his intellectual bankruptcy. Not in so many words, but he may as well have.

What he actually said was directed to Al Gore, as follows:

“I don’t mean to corner you, or maybe I do mean to corner you, but would you be willing to have a debate with me on that point?” asked Mr. Lomborg.  Goracular

Holmes: Quite so, quite so. May I enquire as to the nature of the evidence?

Lestrade: Your Baker Street methods will cut no cheese this time Holmes, that horse has left the stable. Besides, this is a simple fraud case, not your usual cup of tea, is it?

Holmes: Even so Lestrade, if you would indulge me?

Lestrade: Very well. It seems your Mr Algore has been defrauding the widows and orphans of London with some sort of lantern show which he calls ‘Discomforting Verities’ or some such nonsense.

Ambler Huffs and Puffs, but really he just blows

BPSDBOn Saturday The Huffington Post inexplicably published a climate change Denier screed “Mr. Gore: Apology Accepted” by Harold Amber. The piece itself is a very juvenile collection of some of the standard Denier fables, easily exposed as false and of no great interest.

As such I will debunk it last and first ask the more interesting question, “why?”

Legitimate challenges to aspects of climate science appear in publications like New Scientist all of the time, as they should. There is no reason The Huffington Post should not do so as well. But make no mistake, this is not a “skeptical” article (as you will see).

Ambler’s piece is so lame it is worthy of NewsBlusters or The Examiner, particularly as it affects the same tone of self-righteous arrogance as only the truly ignorant can manage. It is pure Denierism unsullied by any stain of accuracy or logic.

BPSDBI am Ngudima Madriguru, Climate Minister of my country. On behalf of my  family (the Abacha’s), my country and the Free World  I would like to seek your advice and help.

I have data that proves human caused climate change is a hoax, but UN thugs intent on world domination are keeping me from sharing it with you.

There is proof that I dare not reveal yet. The earth is cooling even though all of the science shows it is not. The sun is what is making the Earth warmer even though the sun is in a cool phase. The Arctic ice is expanding even though there is less of it. The sea is shrinking even as it rises. The glaciers are advancing even though they appear to be shrinking. I have the evidence!

Why Won’t Al Gore Debate Climate Change?

Simple, the Deniers would win … because they have no evidence or facts on their side.

Huh?  If they have no evidence or facts, how can they win a debate?

Easy, because a debate is not about being right, it is about winning by appearing to be right.  The more the audience does not understand the issue, the easier it is to win. You just need one thing, it’s called “the Gish Gallop.”
